National Month of.......

Why would someone make special months to celebrate unusual things?  In my opinion its because these "unusual" things are really important.  Simple stuff like smiling or helping the planet; things ordinary people wouldn't think to do, but make a BIG difference in the world.

I'm not actually up to date on what we celebrate in May so.....

What would I like to celebrate? ....I would like to celebrate National Sleep In Day, A day you get to sleep in!  Just to have a chance to sleep in and relax.

My weekend

Hi everybody, how's it going?  Of late I haven't been up to much lately, doing the usual you know.  Stuff like watching T.V. and movies. (Like Spider Man 2, which was Awesome)  But my weekend was pretty slow, doing chores/odd jobs around the house.  Watched the Lord Of The Rings again to, but in all honesty nothing else.

Deep(er) Sleep

So lately I've found, this amazing game called Deep Sleep (the Sequel being Deeper Sleep) Its a point and click horror/puzzle game.  (Meaning that you click on stuff and "stuff" happens.)  It has interesting plot: your character goes into a Deep Sleep for research and comes to this world inhabited by "creatures."

Violence on TV

Violence on T.V?  Is it bad you might ask?  Well the answer is a big fat NO.  Violence on T.V. is amazing!  Honestly what could be so wrong with it?  Some people might say that it could make violent children and all that nonsense but honestly, they just don't appreactiate the shows on T.V.  They might just be using it as an exuse to make their kids go to bed on time, or to prevent them from watching their show.  I do believe that Violence on T.V. can be approved.

Cinco de Mayo!!!

Cinco de Mayo, what is it you might ask?  Cinco de Mayo is a very important day to MANY Chicanos (or Chicanas) and Mexicans, Cinco de Mayo was the day the small meager Mexican army (led by General Zaragoza) fought and won against the mighty forces of the French (They won the battle on May 5th 1862, but lost the war)  Cinco de Mayo is important because it symbolizes inspiration for Independence and freedom for the Mexicans and the Chicanos.

I was pretty sure it was a national holiday, but if its not it should because it means SO much to people of Mexican heritage.
